How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?
Adapting to the changes brought by COVID-19 wasn’t easy—I had to give up a lot. I left my job, my city, and the social life I had built. Starting over meant embracing a simpler way of living, with far fewer conveniences but a lot more fulfillment. I bought my own place, a home I renovated myself, where the real highlight is the expansive terrace. Part of it is dedicated to growing my own fruit trees and vegetables, complete with a greenhouse and composting system. Another section, with its beautiful wood beam roof and ceramic tiles, is where I spend nearly half the year.
Moving to a rural region surrounded by lakes, forests, and farms has been both rewarding and challenging. Public transportation here is scarce, so I had to buy a car—something I never needed before. But the biggest shift has been rebuilding my social circle from scratch, finding like-minded people, and creating a new sense of belonging. Life is simpler now, but in many ways, it feels richer
