This technology will bring both good and bad, perhaps in a similar sense as the invention of the printing press.

ChatGPT is fantastic for research – cuts down on a lot of time scrolling. The trick is to ask the right questions worded properly. It needs to be prompted for anything creative- so essentially as a writer you still need to know what you’re doing – otherwise ChatGPT will spit out rigid Wikipedia style copy.
